I have knitted these glove sets out of Montana grown sheep's wool. I find that wool is much warmer on the hands even when it is wet. I call the gloves my driving gloves because they leave the top of your fingers and thumb free. I love to drive with these gloves. The hat comes down just below your ear which I find to be a great fit.
